Kevin Wilson has been an avid movie buff since he was eight years old and watched “King Kong” for the first time. The film captured his imagination and forever cemented his interest in the movie industry. An early interest and fascination with genre films, classics, the Oscars, and International cinema (among many other things) further developed his growth in the subject.

In 2008, Kevin received a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. He spent many years working in theatrical exhibition which included running a projection booth, and managing the Our Town Cinemas theater in Davidson, NC. Through access to content by collecting films and screening them, he built up a vast repertoire of knowledge and insight.

In 2017 and 2019, Kevin received two additional Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. He currently lives in Denver, NC and works as an Accountant in Charlotte.
